So...yeah^^ I don't know what I was thinking when doing this :)
It's based on one of my sketches, and I wanted to try some stuff out with shading in Inkscape. It really burnt my processor.

Anyway, I hope you like it.
Oh, and if you want to use it for something, please let me know! I would like to see it. :)

I like the concept you have there. Have Derpy, give her really big wings, and open them up and have her face upwards and create this upward feeling. I am not sure about the execution though.

I'm not sure what to feel about the composition. What seems to be the focus of this are the enormous wings. The feathers are all pointing up as if it's trying to shift my focus upwards, but there's nothing there. Essentially, the work is shifting the viewer's attention away from itself.

My idea to fix this? Take this idea, and turn it into a logo. Change the shape of the wings to create a circle. Put the name of a fictional institution in the top center so the feathers are all shifting the focus towards that name instead. Put whatever in the empty space in the center to complete the logo. I would imagine that you'll have a far more interesting piece.

this has got to be one of the most coolest emblems that i have ever seen and i give you two thumbs for if it has derby than i can realy in joy it for derby is one of the cutest pony in the show and one of the most happyest that there is. I can also say that you did one heck of a good job with the pic and as well as the shading even thou i can only give you 20 stars but i would give you 20% percent more for this like i guess i would say this is 20% super cool

Originally I had the idea of "Muffin Rain" in mind, yes. You know, Derpy being happy that it's raining muffins from the sky. Sadly, my laptop couldn't handle the shading very well, so it was a pain in the end to work on this vector. I then decided to stop working on the background and released Derpy only. One might say, Derpy is happy about having cool wings as well as getting muffins. :) Oh well^^
